Planning Our engineering team continues to work on preparing material takeoffs, production scheduling, site coordination, and installation preparations even after we submit our shop drawings to the architect for review. By working closely with the general contractors and architects during our drafting process, we are prepared for manufacturing earlier and are better able to schedule our manufacturing to meet the project schedules. During our planning process, site conditions are verified and updated into our as-built shop drawings which are used during manufacturing, and are forwarded to the general contractor and the installers to allow for preparation and coordination on site with other trades prior to our millwork arriving for final installation. MCM has developed our own software to provide our production paperwork, which allows us to customize to our needs, as well as our customers needs. Part of MCM’s customer service is to provide clearly labeled products to the jobsite, which also gives us the ability to barcode and scan during our shipping process. We then send a detailed list of all the products with each load, and prior to the load arriving at the jobsite, to allow for clear site coordination and complete room installations.
